We want you to be comfortable when you visit! Ankeny Christian Church is a “come as you are” church. Jeans or ties are equally welcomed.

 

Our worship services are a Blended Worship service that combines elements of both traditional worship and contemporary praise worship. Each service will have a variety of worship elements and music styles that relate to the scripture lesson of each Sunday. On most Sundays the order of worship for the two services will be similar. The Worship Services continue to evolve in order to meet the needs and desires of the families it draws.The style of music is an energetic and lively blend of praise songs and traditional hymns. A wonderful choir and special song selections by invited guests and church members bring God’s message through music. A praise team helps us get into the music.

We strive to provide upbeat messages that are not only inspirational but relevant to everyday life. Messages touch the heart and give you something to think about all week. Messages are lively and have a sense of humor. No one has to feel as if they are on trial or judged. We are a church of grace. During services a  special children’s moment is featured, if your little one does not want to participate in worship nursery services are available.
